Heat Pumps

We solve heat pump problems – ground, air and water source heat pumps.

Our approach is simple – heat pumps can be expensive and complicated, so correct sizing and plant selection is critical. We advise our customers:

  • what size heat pump running at what flow temps will offset the right amount of CO2 to meet any target or building regulation
  • how that translates into a specific product with installation package
  • how much that will cost

That way, you can sensibly assess the true cost of meeting a CO2 target with a heat pump and decide whether a heat pump is suitable for your building.

We’ve a variety of calculators here which will enable you to make a quick assessment now and an extensive document library featuring datasheets for all of Dimplex’s product range here.

Our advice can be critical for specifiers and contractors and include these recent successes:

  • Saving £20,000 for a new school by advising that the proposed ASHP and solar thermal was an inefficient method of achieving the required CO2 targets; a PV install costing £20,000 less achieved the same target
  • A 50% saving for a mechanical contractor about to place an order for a GSHP ground array
  • Demonstrating to a specifier how a £75,000 saving could be made on GSHP array by adjusting the annual heat load required whilst still meeting CO2 targets.
