To meet challenging CO2 targets imposed by the planners a mix of renewables has been used, each sized not only to meet the required CO2 target but also to suit the way the building is used….

  • 7.5M2 of roof integrated solar thermal from Schuco
  • 30M2 of roof integrated PV from Schuco
  • 9kW Sanyo CO2 air source heat pump

Note the matching solar thermal and PV array.

Included within the solution are two ACV 85TC HeatMaster condensing combination boilers with an SL Multi Energy preheat tank. The HeatMasters were chosen because of very low NOx levels and high seasonal efficiency, enabling the building to achieve very low building emission levels.
